AI Services Economy

The AI Service
Infrastructure OS

A standard way for any service — a dentist, a law firm, a bank, an API, a delivery robot — to describe itself completely enough for an AI agent not just to mention it, but to act on it.

The problem

AI without Service Infrastructure is a brain without hands

Picture a genuinely good AI assistant. A user asks it:

“I need a good family lawyer in Zürich for a complex cross-border inheritance case.”

The AI reasons about this beautifully. Then it needs real answers it doesn’t have:

Who?Where?Credentials?Specialization?Availability?Price?Languages?Capacity?Client type? Can they take the case? How to contact? Can it be booked?

Today, it has to leave the conversation:

AI
Google
Websites
Pages
Forms
Phone calls
Humans

With Service Infrastructure in place:

AI
Service Graph
Provider
Service Object
Availability
Booking

That’s not a feature. It’s a different interface for the entire services economy.

The name

Why “Inserviss”

Read it as two words run together: in service. Every business we work with, and every category on this page, comes down to the same question — is this in service to the person (or, increasingly, the agent) trying to use it? The name is a promise before it’s a product: put every service in service to whoever’s asking, human or AI.

Why now

How a customer finds a service is changing again

Three eras, not two. We’re building for the third while running the second for real.

Past

The search era

A customer searched, skimmed a list of links, and chose. Being on page one was the whole game.

Now — live today

The answer era

A customer asks AI and gets one answer. Being cited — or not — decides who gets chosen, before a human ever compares options. This is exactly what Beacon measures and fixes today.

Next — what the OS is for

The transaction era

An agent acting for a customer finds, verifies, and completes a booking or purchase directly. No list, no click-through — the protocol this page describes.

What it is

Legible to an agent, not just to a search engine

schema.org and JSON-LD taught search engines what a page is about. They were never built to carry what an autonomous agent actually needs to act — live availability, eligibility rules, verified pricing, and where every claim came from. The AI Service Infrastructure OS is the layer above that: any service, in any of the categories below, described completely enough for an agent not just to cite it, but to act on it.

How it works

Two AI agents, one request

Not a search result and a click — a conversation. Six moves, every time: communicate, discover, research, compare, decide, transact.

Where this goes

Roughly every kind of service, eventually

Human, professional, financial, and digital services already answer to AI-mediated discovery. Physical and robotic execution are catching up fast. Closer to the centre is closer to AI-native today.
